VR APP Design

Graphic Design Showcase

Project Brief

Self-guide app UI for Museums/Aquariums/Zoos
Project Overview

To design an interactive VR app for use as a self-experience visit for one of the following settings:

• Landmarks or Attractions
• Lake District destinations
• Company tie-in (Forestry England, National Trust etc)

The VR experience will be designed in a way to allow users to experience the attractions in a more realistic way. As an example, a forest walk could be fully 3D mapped to allow users to complete a full walk through. (think whinlatter 5 mile trail with the use of a VR headset at home, controlled using your own actions, allowing you to take whichever direction you want.

Additionally, the use of live 3D 360 cameras could be incorporated into the app design, to further enhance the realism of the virtual reality.

Target Audience

  • International Tourists
  • Tourists outside of travel distance
  • Consumers without the ability to visit the attractions themselves in person (limited mobility/disabilities)
  • Trip planners

Deliverables

Promotional material
App Branding

Infographics for using the App (Posters & Leaflets/Business cards)
